Reflections on the film "Finding the Crossing" by the Changtai Party Branch.

"Those who know me say I am worried; those who do not know me ask what I seek."
On August 19, organized by the Party Committee of the Bin Kai District in Changzhou City, the members of the Changtai Party Branch watched the movie "Midu."
The film leads us to re-recognize the three outstanding figures of Changzhou—Qu Qiubai, Zhang Tailei, and Yun Daiying. These three young people were classmates, fellow townsmen, and close friends. They were revolutionaries, companions on the same path, and the most steadfast comrades on the road of Marxism. At the same time, the film makes the stories of these three pioneers no longer distant history from textbooks, but through warm historical details and poetic performances, it showcases the magnificent era where the fate of the country and individuals are closely intertwined.
From watching the film, we felt the passionate youth, the fervent faith, and the unyielding belief... which resonated strongly with our hearts. As we watched the martyr Qu Qiubai calmly walk towards the execution ground while singing the International, our eyes became moist, and our throats choked. In the face of the hard-won beautiful life we have now, we should cherish it even more. As party members, we should "never forget our original intention and keep our mission in mind," and strive tirelessly for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
