The Beijing Winter Olympics are in full swing. The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, known as the "world's first intelligent high-speed railway," is the first high-speed railway in the world designed to withstand extreme cold and strong winds, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. This is of great significance. During this Winter Olympics, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway is responsible for the high-speed rail transport tasks between the three competition zones in Beijing and Zhangjiakou. Changzhou Pacific Power Equipment (Group) Co., Ltd., located in the Changzhou National High-tech Zone, has provided the core intelligent switch power supply equipment for the traction power supply system of this high-speed railway, ensuring the safe and stable power supply for the high-speed trains.
Sun Zhimin, the deputy general manager of Pacific Power, introduced that with the construction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, the company received relevant project orders three years ago to provide supporting equipment for the high-speed railway traction power supply system. "Our traction power supply system for high-speed railway trains currently holds over 60% of the domestic market share, and we can proudly say that we are the only company in the country that can provide this traction power supply system." Sun Zhimin mentioned that along the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, Pacific Power has provided a total of 184 sets of this traction power supply system. Through digital empowerment, the system can efficiently collect data and transmit it to the user's command system, improving work efficiency.
To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway during the Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics, the company has established a three-in-one operation and maintenance guarantee system of "human defense, technical defense, and physical defense," developed a comprehensive emergency guarantee plan, and formed a site operation and maintenance guarantee team led by General Manager Zhang Yongjin, with three technical specialists as team members. From January 19, 2022, until the end of the Winter Paralympics, Gu Hewei will be stationed at the Beijing Huangtudian traction substation of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, Qian Huashan at the Chongli Prince City traction substation, and Wang Kang at the Zhangjiakou traction substation, all working hard to ensure power safety. Meanwhile, the company's professional technical team seamlessly connects with the three technical specialists on-site to ensure that the traction power supply system of the high-speed railway operates flawlessly during the Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympics, contributing to the successful hosting of the Winter Olympics.
